Satyuga Counter · Last updated: 14 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Satyuga (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Satyuga Counter mobile application (the “App”). Satyuga Counter is a mantra and japa companion that helps you keep count of your practice on your device.
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to the Satyuga Counter app available on Google Play and any related pages on thesatyuga.com/app.
2. Information we collect
Satyuga Counter is designed to keep your practice private. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or payment details inside the App.
Depending on how you use the App, the following may be stored:
- Practice data on your device: mantra counts, session history, sound or vibration preferences, and similar settings saved locally on your phone.
- Device permissions: the App may use features you enable, such as audio playback, vibration, or notifications, only to support counting and reminders.
- Store information: Google Play or the App Store may collect install, crash, or purchase data under their own policies. We do not control those services.
We do not knowingly collect precise location, contacts, photos, or microphone recordings for advertising.
3. How we use information
Information stored in the App is used to:
- run the counter and remember your progress on that device;
- apply the appearance, sound, and reminder settings you choose;
- improve stability and fix issues if crash reports are available through the app store.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your japa count or practice history for advertising.
4. Storage and security
Counter data is stored on your device unless you back it up through your own phone backup tools. Please keep your device locked. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, locally stored counts and settings may be deleted and cannot be recovered by us.
5. Sharing of information
We do not share your practice data with advertisers. We may share information only if:
- you ask us to (for example, when you contact support);
- required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request;
- needed to operate the App through trusted processors such as Google Play, subject to their privacy terms.
6. Children’s privacy
Satyuga Counter is a general-audience spiritual companion. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will delete it where we can.
7. Your choices
- You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
- You can reset counts and settings from within the App or by clearing app data in your device settings.
- You can turn off notifications or sounds from the App or your device settings.
8. Third-party links and stores
The App or our website may link to Google Play, the App Store, or other sites. Their privacy practices are their own. Please read those policies before you use those services.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
